We care. A lot.
Forward Urban Contractors was created with the simple principle of "NO SHORTCUTS", building a team that provides exceptional service and work, no matter what the scale or price point of the project is. We do our best. Every day. No matter what.
Our story is over two decades in the making. I was lucky enough to be raised by a father who was both handy and meticulous. As a teenager, I helped him regularly fix and renovate his rental property and other projects he would take on. He helped me get my own jobs and eventually I became a self-employed painter working nights, weekends and school breaks to save up for my first car. Eventually I got smarter and started saving for an investment property. I bought one just after finishing high school and, like most houses, it immediately required repairs. I couldn't afford to pay someone to do them for me, so I quickly learned how to fix things myself. Every repair brought a new problem to solve and a new skill to learn. Over time, it gave me the confidence to start tackling bigger renovations, eventually leading to complete home and office renovations, additions and new builds.
20+ years later, I have learned that the most important traits to be successful in business are hard work and a desire for continuous self-improvement. With those traits comes care and determination - qualities we seek in all who work with us. And for that reason, I am confident that our product and service will always be best.
Thank you for reading this and following along our journey. The best is yet to come.
